Keeping your Google Ads account secure and private is essential for protecting your campaigns and sensitive data. One of the security tools Google Ads provides is a feature called Allowed Domains, which helps control who can be invited to access your account. Here’s how to add an allowed domain to a Google Ads account.

What Are Allowed Domains in Google Ads?
Google Ads lets you limit access invitations to email addresses from specific domains. When you list a domain as “allowed,” users with email addresses from that domain can be invited into your account.

For example, if you set yourcompany.com as an allowed domain, then only emails ending with @yourcompany.com can be added as managers to your Google Advertising Account. If an invite is sent to an address on a domain that isn’t on your approved list, Google will block that invitation, even if you’re an admin.
Step-by-Step: How to Add a Domain to Google Ads
Step 1: Open Access and Security Settings
Log in to your Google Ads account where you want to allow a new domain.
Go to Admin: In the bottom left navigation sidebar, click on Admin (the wrench).
Select Access & Security: Under the Manage Account Settings section, choose Access & Security.
Go to the Seciruty tab: Once you’re on the Access & Security page, locate the Security tab – currently it’s the last one.

Locate Allowed Domains: Scroll down until you see the section labeled “Allowed Domains” – it is currently the last one in this tab.

Step 3: Add the New Domain and Save

Click “Add Domain”: This will open an input field where you can type.
Enter the Domain: Type the domain you wish to allow – for example, contact@velizaratellalyan.com.
Save Your Changes: Click Save to add that domain to your approved list.
Once saved, the domain will appear in your list of allowed domains – and users with email addresses from that domain can be invited to access the account.
A Note on Permissions
If you get an error message saying :
To make changes to the allowed domain list, contact an account administrator
This means your current user profile doesn’t have the rights needed to update the allowed domain settings. You’ll need someone with admin privileges to make the change.
Go back to Users to add the New Account Manager
Note that this change only affects who can be added to your account, but doesn’t actually add new users and managers.
After adding an allowed domain, you need to return to Users under Access & Security and invite the new user from that domain with the appropriate access level.
